Biography
Ta’Tiana Alonzo is an artist and designer from New Orleans, Louisiana. She has been involved in art and design since a young age and continues to develop her creative passions. Ta’Tiana has earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Visual Arts and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art and Design. She has gauged her talents and education into aspirations for a rewarding career as an entrepreneurial artist and established her studio arts practice, Ta’Tiana Arts LLC. in 2017. She primarily works in fine art acrylic and her subjects primarily include figures women of color. Ta’Tiana also works in digital art and design using a range of creative computer programs. She continues to embrace the versatility of both traditional and digital mediums.
Creative Statement
Creativity has always been a constant part of my life and I consider myself a creative hybrid, both artist and designer. I enjoy using a variety of digital and traditional media to express ideas through art and design. My approach to art is intuitive and exploratory and I approach design with the same creative inquisitiveness. I am most interested in acrylic painting, digital art, and graphic design. Much of my inspiration comes from color, nature, and femininity. My personal work style is mainly figurative, colorful, and surreal yet bold and sophisticated.
